Gear Review: Immersion Research Arch Rival Dry Suit

Value Rating: 10 Durability Rating: 8 Overall Rating: 7.5 Location of Test: East Fork of the Lewis River and Clear Lake Duration of Test: 2 Trips Product Name: Arch Rival Dry Suit Product Brand: Immersion Research Best Use: Whitewater Sizes: Medium, Large, Xtra-Large Arch Rival Dry Suit The Full Review: This drysuit stays DRY! I tested this while paddle boarding on Clear Lake which was covered in snow at the time. I also tested this on the East Fork of the Lewis River, which is class 4 whitewater. I was happy with the suit on both occasions. I found this suit to be very durable and very water repellant. This drysuit comes with a tunnel for a kayak skirt which helps keep your boat dry as you paddle and roll in the water. It also has a neoprene neck that protects the rubber gasket. This suit does have rubber booties as opposed to fabric, so you have to be careful not to puncture them. Arch Rival Dry Suit The Good Water Reppelent Cool color Dry Durable The Bad: This suit is not as breathable as those made with Gore-Tex. Rubber booties instead of fabric. The Bottom Line: We have several of these suits at the paddle sports center on closeout!!! This is an awesome deal at half the cost of most drysuits. So for the value, you really can't beat it. Unless you are looking for a dry suit you're going to use 200 days out of the year I would say this is the suit for you! Come on in while they are still here! Arch Rival Dry Suit
