Full Review: It's tough to make a good review for a kayak cart. It's one of those critical, yet often overlooked pieces of gear for anyone transporting heavy kayaks or canoes. I had the opportunity to test out a new Next Adventure exclusive kayak cart today, and it honestly made all the difference in the world.

My kayak (wilderness Systems Thresher 140) with all my fishing gear weighs pretty close to 100 pounds, so transporting it from my rig to the water solo can be a major hassle. A solid kayak cart can make a big difference, and often the hefty price tag of competing carts can scare you off. When a cart works, you don't have much to say about it, and this cart works.

The Good List:

  • Heavy duty, all terrain tires roll easily over rocky and rough terrain.
  • Adjustable cradles with rubber protectors fit a wide range of boat widths.
  • Included cam straps make sure your boat's not going anywhere.
  • At less than half the cost of comparable carts, the value on this thing is off the chain.

The Not so Good List: None so far.

The Bottom Line: Solid, rugged cart at an outstanding price point.
