Experience an adventure rich with stunning mountain sights, incredible nature, and be immersed in Oregon history as we journey to the Warrior Rock Lighthouse on the mighty Columbia. Named in honor of the Chinook war party who met General Vancouver's team while exploring Sauvie Island in the 18th Century, the journey to the Lighthouse passes through the in the calm tidal estuary of Scappoose Bay and the Multnomah Channel, where ruins of Portland and the Columbia River's Industrial days and the Clackstar People mingle with nesting Bald Eagles, herons and other wildlife. With views of both Mt. St Helens and Mt. Adams, two of the Pacific Northwest's iconic volcanoes, on the clearest of days, our destination still guides traffic upstream towards Portland, Vancouver, and beyond.
